Hello there!

A little bit about me as a UI/UX Designer and Front-end Developer

I earned my BS in Visual Communication Design from The Ohio State University in 2017. During undergrad, I interned with ScottsMiracle-Gro for two years, making 3D models of Scotts’ products. When I graduated I continued at Scotts as a UI/UX Engineer and learned front-end development on the job. Having both skillsets allows me to facilitate a connection between the two fields and leads to improved project outcomes. I value intuitive, accessible design to ensure inclusion of a wide audience with diverse needs.

On a more personal level

I live with my partner, Melissa, and my dog, Finn, in Columbus, Ohio. I grew up in Bay Village, Ohio, on the shore of Lake Erie. My parents and a few siblings still live in Bay Village, and I enjoy going up for the weekend to kayak on the lake and take the dogs for hikes. In my free time I enjoy listening to history/news podcasts, working on home improvement projects, trying my hand at the pottery wheel, skiing, and taking my dog for a walk or just a fun romp in the yard.
